PRS conducts due diligence (DD) of entities or individuals to inform clients wishing to enter into busines relationships. This includes business aquisitions, mergers, investments, philatrophic donations and partnerships.The PRS offering assists in resolving information assymetry, thereby enabling clients place their money with the right counterparties and best pricing.

Broadly, four types of due diligence are conducted:

Commercial: Focusing on the market positioning, sustainability and outlook.
Financial: Focusing on financial performance and financial risks.
Operational: Focusing on operational setup and operational risks.
Integrity or Reputational: Focusing on entity and individual leadership integrity and public reputation.

The PRS offering on due diligence can be contracted for any or a combination of the category types above.

For intergrity or reputational DDs, there are three levels of contracting as follows:

(i) Basic: Involving mainly publicly available information and industry contacts.
(ii)Moderate: Adding criminal and court record searches.
(iii) Advanced: Adding priviliaged information or investigations.
